The Burke High School Band is made up of high school students attending Harry A. Burke High School  in Omaha,Nebraska.

The Burke High School Band performs in several marching band competitions and exhibitions throughout the fall (See Calendar link for Dates) ,  and during home football games.  

Burke is very proud of its band and the band’s accomplishments and appreciates the support of the band parents.

The Burke High School Band is directed by Murl Mickey, Merlin Lempke, and Norm Edwards.  Dana Murray is the Percussion Instructor. The Color Guard instructors are Brian Walker and Sheila McCauley. Other staff members are  Bill Kearney, Zack Konrad, and Matt Arbeiter. The band is under the student leadership of drum majors  Jessica Q. and Amanda B.  The Color Guard captains are Bre J.  and   Jessica N. .   

The 2006  Marching show is "FootLoose".  The music was arranged by Rick Philson and the drill was developed by Ron Hardin of Creative Solutions. 

The president of the Band Boosters is Judy Gray.
